There are two cases in which the router is dropped: all terminals are dropped and some terminals are dropped.

1. The reason why all terminals are dropped is generally the faulty lead of the front-end line or router WAN port.

(1) Carrier network failure

Remove the router, the computer directly connected to the broadband Internet, confirm whether it will also drop the line, if it is the problem of the broadband carrier line, it is recommended to contact the operator to solve the problem.

(2) WAN port physical line failure

If the network cable of the current port or the WAN port of the router is faulty, the router will be disconnected. Check whether the WAN port indicator of the router is off. If it is off, the network cable of the router WAN port or the front-end optical cat is faulty. You can replace the network cable or the computer. Directly connected to the cat for comparison test

(1) Problems with router configuration

Go to the router management page to check whether the timed Internet access or online time limit is set.

2. Some terminals are dropped

(1) Internal network physical line failure

The router has a large capacity, usually connected to a multi-level switch. If one of the lines fails, the following devices will not be able to access the Internet.

For this situation, it is recommended to use the method of troubleshooting, replace the network cable for comparison test or the possibility of the computer directly connected to the router LAN port to eliminate the failure of the intermediate multi-level switch.

(2) The problem of the dropped device NIC

If there is a disconnection problem in the fixed individual terminal, it may be caused by the old or damaged network card of the dropped terminal itself, or the disconnected terminal can be connected to other routers for comparison test to check whether there is a dropped line.
